Learning Target for the week: students will be able to use evidence from different informational texts (and media) in order to write a multi-paragraph explanatory essay.

MONDAY: Students were given their explanatory writing packet.  This packet walks students through the writing process in order to help them write an explanatory essay.  Below, I have attached 5 of the 7 pages of the packet.  I am unable to attach 2 additional pages due to copyright purposes.

The final draft of the explanatory essay along with the completed packet will be due this FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7.
