Week at a Glance:
Monday: Students were introduced to text structures in informative writing pieces. They took notes and completed an activity. See below for the PowerPoint and notes. Students were given their weekly homework sheet (#10) and their POW #10. These are due this FRIDAY!
Tuesday: Students will finish the text structure activity from Monday. After, they will finish and check their Uni 2 pre-test which was completed Friday. Students will track and record their data.
Wednesday-Thursday: Students will further their study of text structures by completing text structure stations. At each station, students will read a passage, identify the correct text structure, and fill out the thinking map that belongs with each text structure.
Friday: Text structure mini quiz!
